Wil Smith, a junior at Gonzaga, placed second in the men's 8-kilometer gold race in 24:00.4 at the 37th Roy Griak Invitational at Les Bolstad Golf Course in Minnesota. Smith helped Gonzaga place five scorers in the top 35 to secure second as a team with 80 points.
